UIN Online - UIN Alauddin Makassar had held socialization in 24 districts / cities in South and West Sulawesi by sending 31 personnels. This activity was carried out smoothly.

The socialization is implemented by inviting all principals of SMA / MA / SMK district level. Firstly, all socialization teams showed a movie that lasted 10 minutes. The movie chronicled about the development of IAIN into UIN and its facilities today. After that, the teams described the procedures of PDSS filling both SNMPTN and SPAN. The socialization activity was conducted from February 3 to 15, 2014.

At this socialization, there were some questions needed a follow-up as the followings:

1. In senior high school, it was found the differences of NISN in the portal with NISN owned by the school, so they could not input the student data on the portal. If they inputted their own NISN, there would be sentence stating that this number has been used by someone else.

2. From the same case, as a matter of fact, there were some schools trying to use local NIS (last year, 2013, then added zeros behind it up to 10 digits, doing this one, enabled them to enter the portal and some even passed.

3. There were some schools asked for the passing assessment criteria transparency; it was aimed as the guidance to the students / schools to give the best to their students.

4. There were some schools used the accelerated completion of students who only took 4 semesters of study. The question was how to fill the semester grade point which reached until 5 semesters in case he/she only took four semesters.
