UIN Online - In order to improve the students’ competencies and strengthen the characters in the learning process, both in the classroom and the organization, Public Health (Public Health) Department of Health Sciences Faculty (FIK) of Alauddin State Islamic University (UIN Alauddin) of Makassar held Public Health Character Building (PHCB). Saturday, September 27th, 2014.

This PHCB provided materials to the participants especially for the fresh students (freshmen) of Public Health year intake 2014, those are, Public Health Profile, Court Method, Organizational, Leadership, Student Affairs, Rhetoric, Problem Solving and Time Management.

Muhammad Haris, the chief committee of PHCB, admitted that he was very proud of this event, and this activity would be held every year especially for the freshmen.

"This activity can stimulate the participants’ competence because they get a lot of materials that will support them when they join an organization in order to improve their academic achievement," he said when interviewed.

This activity took place in LT room of Health Science Faculty at campus 2 of UIN Alauddin and lasted for two days with the number of 88 participants of Public Health students.
